1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ECU Tuning Portal ("the Portal"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Portal.

2. Services

The Portal provides ECU remapping and tuning services. All services are performed by qualified tuners. We reserve the right to refuse or reject any file submission at our discretion, including files that are corrupted, incompatible, or from vehicles we are unable to support.

3. Credits & Payments

Credits are purchased in advance and deducted upon file submission. Credits are non-refundable except in cases where a file is rejected by our tuners, in which case credits may be refunded at our discretion. Credits do not expire unless otherwise stated.

4. Turnaround Times

Stated turnaround times are estimates and not guarantees. Priority levels (Normal, High, Urgent) affect queue position. We are not liable for delays caused by technical issues, high demand, or circumstances beyond our control.

5. Vehicle Legality & Emissions

Many tuning services including DPF removal, EGR delete, and emissions-related modifications are illegal for use on public roads in the United Kingdom and many other jurisdictions. By requesting these services, you confirm that the vehicle is intended for off-road, track, or motorsport use only, and that you take full legal responsibility for compliance with local regulations.

6. Liability

ECU tuning carries inherent risks. We are not liable for any damage to your vehicle, engine, or associated components resulting from the application of our tuning files. You accept full responsibility for the installation and use of any files provided. We strongly recommend that tuning files are installed by a qualified professional.

7. File Retention

Completed result files are stored for a limited period as specified in your account settings (typically 30 days). We recommend downloading and backing up your files immediately upon completion. We are not responsible for files that have been deleted after the retention period.

8. Intellectual Property

All tuning files produced by our tuners remain the intellectual property of ECU Tuning Portal. Files are licensed to the purchasing customer for use on the specified vehicle only and may not be redistributed, resold, or shared without written permission.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or misuses the platform. Unused credits will be forfeited upon termination for cause.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Portal after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
